Probably one of the biggest twists from Hall H was the announcement that Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman would be returning to the Thor franchise and also taking the reins as the Mighty Thor, the goddess of Thunder.

Jane Foster’s comic book story arc as Thor happened in 2014, so I’m glad to see that Marvel is shining a light on the characters storylines far beyond origin stories.
Fans took to Twitter to express that Natalie Portman is not worthy to wield Mjolnir after her exit from Thor: Ragnarock. Portman was unhappy during Thor filming when they fired Patty Jenkins. She mentioned her lack of a role in Thor 3 in a Wall Street Journal interview.
“As far as I know, I’m done,” she said. “I mean, I don’t know if maybe one day they’ll ask for an Avengers 7, or whatever.” She continued by saying that Thor “was a great thing to be a part of.”
Some fans are excited about seeing the story arc played out on the big screen.
Thor: Love and Thunder will hit theaters November 5, 2021.
